A good shooter is standing at one side of the ship and a target is placed on the opposite side of the ship. The ship is moving uniformly along a straight line. The shooter takes aim at the exact center of the target. Does he/she hit the target?

According the Galileo’s principle of relativity, all mechanical experiments done inside a ship moving at constant speed in a constant direction would give precisely the same results as similar experiments done on shore. Thereby, the good shooter will hit the target.
