Difference in the weight of a person.

Is there any difference in the weight of a person on the equator and on the poles?

At the equator, the centrifugal force due to the spinning of the Earth is directly opposed to gravity, but at the poles, the centrifugal force is zero. This means that the attractive force of gravity is slightly reduced at the equator.
